Permeating Sorrow
The sorrow that
 you bring me
 breaks my soul
 in two
 rain drips black
 through the holes
 in my umbrella
 within which, I can
 see the stars laughing
 at me
 as the day fades
 and all that are left
 are shadows of our
 sleeping world
but I am the only one
 who sees it in it's
 entirety
 dreams do not await
 me when the dark falls
 my eyes stare out
 and up
 gazing at the pinpoints
 of light that reach
 through the sorrow that
 you bring me
