Life Will be Silence

Wait another minute,
Just wait another minute,
Wait another minute and see how everything falls together,
From the clouds in the sky,
To the deep blue sea,
And the majestic forests
All coming apart.
Man is picking away at Earth,
Seeming not conscious of what they are doing.
Scraping away life,
Until nothing is left.
Sucking out oceans,
Sweeping away birds out of the air,
Leaving them to fall dead to the ground.
Nothing but a night sky,
With luminous stars not to be seen.
Life will be silence.
