"Don't beg for things, do it yourself, or else you won't get anything." Eureka Seven

In this age everyone stands vigilant,
Against the wolf in sheep's clothing,
He who speaks words of honey,
While searching for weakness,
So that he will know where to strike,
Then gone before you notice the knife.

The wolves stalk the shadows,
They rule with fear and trickery,
The sheep forever their toys,
They remain separate as predator and prey,
Though like all laws there are exceptions,
Ones you know and fear,
And those you are never aware of.

Within the ranks of the wolves,
Lie sheep who shroud themselves,
They live and act as wolves,
But do not run with them,
They are the lone wolves,
Those who scorn both predator and prey,
But unknowing to either they aid the weak,
Almost never open with their kindness,
But when they witness great injustice,
They make themselves known,
Neither wolf nor sheep,
They side with the wronged,
And fight the corrupt until they war is done,
Then they return to the shadows,
To once again roam the shadows alone.

Every one knows of the Wolf in Sheep's Clothing,
But not many of their silent allies,
The Sheep in Wolves Clothing.

The author's comments:
It's easier to live as a wolf whom people leave alone because they either fear or respect the Night stalker then to openly be the sheep witch is often taken advantage of and pushed around.
