Melt.
crumbling upon the icy aqua
the colossal white boulder
collapses into pieces and nothing
awaits its destiny in the bitter future
and knows it will soon
run through the lands
just like the times before mammoths
overflow the manmade wonders
wreck the things that set them free
and reach higher toward the sky
parched deserts to lakes
forests to sloshing swamps
cities to endless oceans
wiping the board clean and renew
the wounds
cut deep by immature
gluttony.
