There is a song of many souls crying out from open graves,
A song that travels over hills and sails the amber waves.
It doesn’t stop until it has reached every living ear
For it carries words that everybody really needs to hear.

We sing! We cry! From holes deep in the Earth!
And naught because of laughter, and naught because of merth!
We’ve seen the future of your lives and ‘less you change your ways,
You are heading for some very bleak and sorrowful days!

At first the song was muted, unheard by most of us,
But as the days drew longer, so did our mistrust!
We turned on one another as if we were enemies,
Our resolve began dying, and we were brought to our knees!

We sing! We cry! From holes deep in the earth!
And naught because of laughter, and naught because of merth!
What have we said? It’s gone to your head,
The pain and all the lies. So be prepared for when you all implode and everyone dies!

Finally, the song had stopped, now heard by every man.
Who waited on the next generation to warn them of the plan!

I just wrote this thinking about our generation and how we need to listen to the past ones!
