Graveyard
So many stories are told by the dead
Tales of great battles and tales of soft beds
Deep in the graveyard, well out of sight
Beneath the Great Willow, and shaded from light
This is where they speak, the ghost’s darkened grove
This is the place where you’re never alone
Beneath the Great Willow, on the stony cold bench
They show themselves, solider, sailor, and wench
Please lend your ears, for the dead have a voice
Acknowledge their wisdom and make the right choice
Though they aren’t living, been gone for some time
These spirits too, loved loves and lived lives
So many stories are told by the dead
If you just listen, it might save your head
Deep in the graveyard, and well out of sight
Still within the gates, but lacking of life
 Whispers of flowers, wildly grown
A place time has forgotten and left all alone
If you but listen, hear the dead children cry
The ones who never made it to the kingdom of sky
So many stories are told by the dead,
Tales of great battles and tales of soft beds
