Soft

Brushing over the surface of the raised letters
Spelling out the
Title
Greeting the well known words
marching across the pages
The corners dog eared and soft from the
repeated motion
Of your hands
Flipping the pages with abandon
Even though you already know how it is going to end.
Maybe that
Is why this book is so special
Because
You always know how it is going to end.
When everything else changes
It stays
The same.
