Deep,
inside a gray and white bowl of needles,
fog sets in as I give a sudden icy breath,
anxious to move on yet stagnant,
set on it's beauty and serenity,
the smell of pines fill my senses,
while small droplets of snow trickle down,
tickling my skin as I stood while wind whistled around me,
alone in bliss within a dark forest,
deep.

This was a piece I wrote talking about traveling in the back-country during Winter. I came across a scene where a small grove was exposed, filled with countless small pines and logs, all encompassed with a beautifully thick layer of fog.
