Angel Taken by Death
I reached out to stroke his cheeks in a way meant to comfort. I was shocked to feel the big, fat tears already on his cheek that met my fingertips. I shook my head sadly at him and my heart broke seeing him hit his knees. "It wasn't your fault", I remind him, "it was my decision to make." He still sat crying as I told him, "Sometimes death appears to be easy and that was my problem. You left and took my life with you." I turned to look and seen the light waiting for me. Tears filled my eyes as I promised I would see him in eternity. Upon entering the light acknowledgement of truth hit me. I would see him sooner than I would later. That was love. Following each other even when death tries to separate you.
