parental advisory: explicit content stickers,
because life is explicit too —
I suppose they’ve just forgotten:
Little boys off to war, in their father’s name,
with boxers, not briefs in their suitcases
Little girls and blood in the toilet,
tears in the toilet — and the way everything disappears when you flush.
Little mothers and fathers,
with two jobs each, and two children with messy hair —
they’re still playing
house, still playing life, even though they’re thirty, and how did they
end up
here?
Parental advisory:
Don’t have children. Life’s too explicit for all of us.
