When He Leaves

My brother is going to leave soon
He is going off to college
I will be an only child most days
I will be sitting at home alone
I will have no one to talk to
I will have no one to laugh with
No one will come to clubs with me
Or let me be the third wheel
Or fight with me
No one will take the car
When I need it
Or argue with my mother
The house will be silent
And I will be sad
No one will ask me
How badminton went
Or pick me up from yearbook
I will be completely alone
