The person that
You think you see
Is not the one
Who really is me
If you could see
What happens inside
You would then know
The reason I hide
For that side of me
I've worked hard to change
But it will always be part of me
I can never exchange
This side of me
I dare not show
For I fear if I do
Then off you will go
Far far away
From the person you knew
Away from me somewhere
Leaving me blue
Behind these wall
Is a monster, you see,
So I hope that you never
See that side of me

I really like this and the subject. I have read most of your poems and my main thing is rhyming. In every single one of your poems you rhyme. It cripples you because it limits your choice of words. I would suggest, if you want to become a better writer, start writing poetry that doesn't rhyme, or has internal rhyme.
