Spin The Bottle
The empty bottle spun 'round and 'round,
But most of us looked to the ground.
I'd been the one to have spun,
And had landed on the hottest one.
His hair was dark and spiked up straight,
Into the closet I was not late.
The door was locked, and timer set,
Before today, we hadn't met.
His emerald eyes looked right at me,
He kissed my cheek so tenderly.
I stared and gasped, shock had sprung,
To provoke his interest, what had I done?
His cheeks flushed red, he was shy,
I smiled warmly toward the tall guy.
He stepped away, looking down,
"I'm being rude, my name is Found.
I've seen you at school, and I don't know why,
I've never said hello, I guess I'm just shy."
I nodded as I replied with my name,
I'd assumed he thought I was lame.
A loud knock came from the door,
we turned, glad our clothes weren't on the floor.
7 minutes was faster than predicted,
Now to his kiss I've grown addicted.
The door was open, game was over,
This boy though, became my lover.
I was beside the 'popular guy'
And even though he was so shy,
He told the story of the game,
And now everyone knows my name.
