Some people think I'm weird
just because i like to be by myself
but I like to be alone
it lets me think about everything
I can daydream and not be bothered
or I could write for hours at a time
I do things that I can't do with people around me
by that I mean I can relax
I don't have to worry about what I'm going to say
or if people think I'm in a certain mood
I can be my true self
relaxed and at ease
Believe me i have friends
but some of them aren't true friends
so I guess I only have like five friends
I guess I'd rather be a little lonely
than be hanging out with a bunch of backstabbers
I don't mind being alone
when I am I don't have to please everyone
I can just be myself
and that's just the way it should be
