Four Letters
Four letters.
Something we say to feel better,
Something we say to each other
 And even to our mother.
 It is hidden everywhere,
In a flower or a necklace,
In a painting or empty space.
It can be spoken or written
But it's best when it's shown
By one we proudly call our own.
Driving across town in the dead of night
Just to make sure you are alright,
Or canceling plans just to see each other again.
Time has pass, but it's the same now as it was then.
So please tell me these thoughts racing through my head
Could only be for my love, my best friend.
