Love Just Happens

It just happened one day
I was laying awake
In the middle of the night
I was thinking of you
And I felt something new
A soft feeling inside
It wasn't lust
I had felt it before
This was more you see
This feeling made me scared
But it made me happy as well
For it was unknown
I realized what it was
It was love
Then I cried
If I let myself love you
I will most likely get hurt
Love will let me down
Then I thought
Well what if he does
What if I do
Maybe there's no use fighting it
Maybe I should let myself
Because you can't control love
Love just happens
