Started from the bottom now we're here - Drake

Is there a word
For the way you feel when you know his eyes are on you,
And in the split second when you turn your head you miss it
I wish there was, because I would’ve said it already
when we were together that night lying on your bed,
and there was nothing but silence third wheeling along with us,
we knew how much we loved each other,
but the game of love is a weird one,
where the winner loves the least.

Is there a word
to describe how nervous you feel on your first date,
when your heart races, and butterflies is an understatement?
I wish there was, because I would’ve said it already
When you dropped me home that night,
We both knew how much we loved each other,
But we wouldn’t dare say it,
A kiss was enough

Is there a word
For the way my toes cringed when I realised
That I would never be able to see you again?
Because if there were, I would’ve said it
On the day I stood at the end of your coffin
Whispering bids of farewell,
You knew how much I loved you,
But I had lost you,
and In turn I had the lost the game

Just a poem about how words are never enough to describe the way you feel; in a adolescent's point of view
