My life
April 23, 2013
One year old.
My world is flawless.
Rainforest continues to flourish,
rivers flow and families grow.
My population, dense and stable,
feeling invincible.
Eight years old.
My world is fading.
my family falls away,
along with the rivers clarity,
My population, cut in half,
never the same.
Fifteen years old.
My world is gone.
Nearing the end,
so much has changed.
My population, you decide;
don’t let us go.
