Crying in the dark
Since when did pain describe
A stake through my heart
When did love begin
To be so hard to get
When my heart is beating hard
And my face is glistening wet
When did all this hurt
come to mean my life
When did all the dark
Swallow up the light
Since when could I leave
And no one would care
When did they not notice
That I wasn't there
