I thought that I saw what I never did see,
I thought I saw a future for you and me,
I thought that I knew what I never did known,
Didn't you love me because my love did show,
I thought that with with you I was safe,
I guess when it comes to safe there isn't a place,
I that that you lips wouldn't tell a lie,
You trick my heart and didn't have to try,
And I thought what I saw would never come true
The one who would break my heart was you,
