Favorite Quote:
“Vanity and pride are different things, though the words are often used synonymously. A person may be proud without being vain. Pride relates more to our opinion of ourselves, vanity to what we would have others think of us.”
― Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

You are a hall of clouds
Beauty is your paint
And you are the artist
Your sweet hands hold the brush
To paint away the day
To reveal the night
It's mother the moon
She is your sister
and she smiles sweetly
Delighted at her daughters dance
But when it's time to sleep
Brother sun takes a deep breath
And envelopes the dark
With his exhale light bursts forth
And so the cycle begins again
Trapped in the house that is you
