The black bird
As I look out the window
It sits on it’s perch
Then it flies away slowly
As if it’s in starch
The black bird
I can feel all its power
I can feel its entire wrath
I can now remember the nightmares
Called my past
The black bird
As I fly away quickly from reopening my scars
I have now entered the world
Of stars
the black bird
So dazed by their light
And distracted by their glory
I’m now surrounded by my own emotional story

You give so much room for interpretation and I love that! So deep and thoughtful. You did a magnificent job
