Kick me to the ground
Drown out my words
With your lies
Cover their virgin ears
So they can’t hear
My tainted truths
You think that you’re
Protecting their innocence
But all you want is control
Of their minds
Of their souls.
Beat me down
Kick me to the ground
Drown out my words
But you will never stop me
I know the truth
And I will reveal it
Because everyone needs to hear
You try to control me
By suppressing my will
By breaking me
Yet I will not yield
My voice will be heard.
