i went to the library yesterday
and found a book of your poetry-
on the first page
i was at home and found
comfort in the lowercase,
frankness, and lack of structure
of your prose
no care for conformity
or rhyme scheme-
you see, i thought
i found a book
but really,
i found myself.

So, I went to my library a few weeks ago. And read some anthologies by this poet. And wow! I'm so happy to have "discovered" her work. I was so amazed I wrote a poem based on one of her poems. Thank you for introducing this author to all of us.

I've never heard of this poet before. But now I'm interested in reading her work. And poetry will do that to you. In one author or another, you find yourself. It's eeire yet comforting. Excellent poem. I'm sure this poet would've been proud of your work here.
