The Dawn Of Humankind
In the war of Gods and Monsters
The indigo ocean upturned and rushed over the mountains grey
In the war of Gods and Monsters
The sky turned crimson and shattered, pieces of bloody glass falling onto the Earth's green grounds
Blue lighting struck the stony cliffsides
And the trees roared with age old anger.
The cold blue eyes of the Gods never waned
Lords of the barren seas
And the fierce roar of the Monsters never dimmed
Kings of fiery volcanoes.
They fought till all were dead, and neither Gods or Monsters remained anymore.
And from the ashes of their battles
A beautiful woman stood, the sun rising upon her pale skin
Its rays glimmering in her hopeful eyes.
