The smell of it digs deep in m soul
Flooding the endless hole
But never filling up
to the point of a half empty cup
the pitter patter sound flooding my ears
each drop as heavy as tears
the tree shakes his nearly green head
flinging off the fallen dead
raindrops then hit the ground finishing their suicide mission from the cloud
then we all wish as one
the pitter patter would sucome
