To true to be a dream
To hazy for reality
my world was burning
Screams sang out
What was happening to these people
Ones for whom my heart will grieve
They are forever leaving us
And the fire burns on
They are oblivious
The mayhem around them must be Only in my eyes, my heart
I'm the only one who sees them Forever leaving us on their journey
Leaving for their tomorrow
Is this what it means to grow
And spread your wings?
If this is graduation,
And i have at least one who cares enough to see this for me,
When i go, then i know
