I Tell No Lies
You have been gone for whiles now
Almost dead
You're wondering why the sky is crying
And you're so sorry
But you cannot see my pain
Your eyes are numb
From smoking smokes
And the chills going down your spine
Are the hidden beats of your heart
You cannot hear them
Because ears get deaf from dirty music
Oh the things that you have felt
All of the illusions
Flying through your head
They blind your eyes
Oh the ones that have gazed back at you
Their yearning full of glazed hunger
You fell for them
And their sleek, silky skin
Purity is found miles down the mud
But mud is still mud
And you
My prince
Have almost fallen
I throw you my last rope
It is golden
But you do not
Or cannot
Catch it
Those fists of yours
Are stubbornly clenched
In the arms of the weakest bluffers
Hold onto me
I tell no lies
