Why would I talk about something
That scared my friend to death?
Why would I keep talking
After she told me to stop?
Why would I await an answer
When the question was rhetorical?
Why can't I just shut up?
She has gone through a lot
She doesn't need me
Poking a fire to rekindle it
Why would I try to plunge deep in despair?
I guess I mess up a lot
I guess I'm just a jerk
I don't know when to be quiet
If I don't stop this madness
Then there will be no one else left
No one but her would be my friend
So, just shut the heck up
