You're all I ever wanted
So why'd you have to go?
You knew my heart was haunted
You took part of my soul
Yeah sure we had our fights
But I thought our love was strong
You left, and took the light
That was shining for so long
I wish I could be angry
Could hate you in some way
At least then I'd be busy
It might help dim the pain
 Instead I'm left here bleeding
 Staggering, trying to stand
 Eyes wide open, seeing
There was never a 'grand plan'
 Soul mates? That was bull
 Love? Like a five-year-old
Forever? A sharp knife turned dull
As I cut through lies and burns
 I'm hurt beyond repair
But hey, I hope you're happy
Thanks for handling me with care
That is, until you dropped me.
