Ever Since Niagara Falls
I left town to be a tourist last Sunday-
to seek a glimpse of a World Wonder.
 Google-eyed, I speculate
 Aqua cascades-
Rapunzel lets her hair fall from the tower when I holler her name.
Her hair be a ladder, I mount upstream in hopes of meeting her hounour.
silver mist highlights hues of the rainbow as it catches sun rays
 inbetween silken strands.
The melodious gush of her voice twang at my heart
sings as it crashes down to meet the ground (& me).
 I thought of Audrey again.
If only she were here to witness my encounter with the fair Princess.
(Nobody but her is mad enough to believe my tale.)
Thereat, I send Audrey a postcard to let her know how remarkably beautiful Rapunzel is.
I wrote “Please come visit her one day before you die”.
In the blink of an eye-
She wrote back to me, promising she’ll stay alive just for that.
I’ ve been writing postcards to her wherever my feet took me
 Ever since Niagara Falls.
