Tennessee
Fields of green fill my eyes as we continue to drive by
Cows are munching in the grass, followed by a sign saying welcome to Mass.
Everyone piles out of the car after 16 miles of driving far
We are in Tennessee, our final destination, where we wanted to be.
As we hike the mountaintops, we didn’t make too many stops
We had to beat the clouds Andy said,
but the rest of us just wanted to go to bed
As soon as we reached the peak of Clingman’s dome
We began to roam
Miles of mountains met our eyes, and our spirits began to rise
