Us Little Hopefuls
Hope is never enough
No matter what they say
Dreams are made of dust
Not enchanting sun rays
Love is full of hate
Warmth is full of cold
I'm losing my grip
Got nothing to hold
I listened to the lies
I made that mistake
I held on to the plastic jewels
Thought them real, they were fake
Now i'm left in the dirt
Along with others of my kind
Us little hopefuls
Live sad, dreary lives
