The Graduated
The years have gone by
 quicker than you’d imagined.
 Your childhood soon to be
 just a memory.
 Friends remembered and forgotten,
new ones soon to be found.

Some days were clouded and stormy,
others were brighter than the sun.
 Promises were kept,
 while some were forgotten.
 This chapter is over;
now it’s time to begin again.

 Your happy memories will be
 stored and kept,
 waiting to be thought of
 on a rainy day.
Sad ones will be hiding there,
 waiting to resurface in
 lighter times.

 But remember who you were.
 Remember who you are.
 Hold onto yourself,
 and never forget your passions,
 your desires,
 and your dreams.
