When I Am

When I am 11 I hope to be far from heaven
When I am 21 I will have more fun
When I am 25 I will appreciate what it means to be alive
When I am 50 I will start saying the old words like nifty and thrifty
When I am 56 I will finally win the pick 6
When I am 62 I will unknowingly lie to you
When I am 73 I will start drinking afternoon tea
When I am 84 I will be older than I was before
When I am 98 I will be close to meeting my fate
When I am 100... well by then I will be dead
When I am in heaven I will think back to when I was 11.
