Death is Sure
Come hither, small moonlight
within our attacker's sight.
Look into a night lagoon
the fall is coming soon.
They’re all dreading the dark
by missing songs of a voice.
Beautiful skin, turns to color of ash.
But in the end, killers bleed too.
Deep within Earth, bodies rot.
Murderers left them unmarked
but loved ones planted a stone.
Forgotten name engraved upon.
“Next?” the blackness will cry.
Inevitable that you shall die.
Shadows beckoning with
ghostly dancing, pale.
Storm pounces down
Rain, not a sound.
You can’t run
nor can you
hide...
