Moon, Sun, Stars
The moon sulks low in the sky,
He's so sad he doesn't even realize.
The sun will be back in the morning,
After he's already fast asleep.
The stars surround him because they know his heart hurts,
That sun broke him apart and melted that sweet heart.
The sun misses the moon,
She misses the way he smiled that half smile.
She misses the moon being at his fullest.
The stars were so busy supporting the moon,
They didn't shine like they used to.
The sun knew what was wrong,
But she knew better than to stay up late.
The moon tried to see the sun one more time,
But the sky was getting bright and it was time for light.
The stars fell out of the sky,
So tired from the moons heartbreak!
The moon didn't glow that night,
And the sun didn't shine that day.
Know better than to drop old things for new,
Because this could happen to you.
