In this cage
I call my heart

Explosions of emotion
Stirring inside
There is NOWHERE
to hide

My brain is like a volcano
ready
bubbling up
inside....

My heart is broken
torn up
despaired over
Cracked right down the center

Chained up

I really like this and the rhyming and everything and I really like the repetition. I don't quite get the phrase 'despaired over', i know what it means but why would ur heart despair over itself? maybe i'm being stupid... :)
