fingers in my hair
your breath on my neck
goosebumps and love that stretches
from here to the west coast.

ceiling fan, four white walls
you’re between someone else’s
sheets,
someone with longer hair
and love that spans oceans
and screams from a mountain peak
while I shiver and shake at the edge of the sea.
