scare your fear before it scares you.

big bright blue moon
hang high above the night sky
with sea of stars sailing South
others drown into the ground
casting soulful shadows
forming shades of silhouette
across the rustling leaves of trees
dotted dew drops sliding
among the blades of grass
glimmer like gold
once in a while
a blithe breeze blows
brewing the aroma of
the brown beautiful Earth
there is a queue of quietness
until an insect chirp
the owl hoot
and a quick kick of a rabbit
not far away
is a little lake
surface shines like a silver bay

wind making swirly ripples
that hypnotized my sleepy eyes
oh! How unfortunate
for the humans to sleep at night
missing a dreamlike delight.

"I'm in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into a void, and that oblivion is inevitable... and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we'll ever have, and I am in love with you." Augustus Waters

The nighttime imagery is very good, you did a great job of taking the general nature theme of Night and picking out its colors with which to paint this poem.

Oh, by the way, I almost forgot to ask if you would comment on my poems, 'He Didn't Make It,' and 'Stop! No, You Stop!' Thanks!

Wow! Congrats on te editors choice! That's such an honor! I loved the alliteration! It fit very well. The imagery was so mystical. The only thing I have to critique is that in certain parts the flow feels off. I feel like some wording could be readjusted. Wonderful job. This was really well written!
