Only my love has the will to breaks down the wall.

A wall built so high, so tall and so mighty
That the gods themselves could not penetrate its remorseless marble enclosure.
Even the Ancient Chinese Warriors were impressed with the icy stone
Incasing and restraining your delicate heart.

Although many an arrow were sniped from Cupid’s bow
None did you receive
For you were blinded by the cast surrounding your heart.

But who am I?
The keeper of the wall
The one who holds the most delicate of hammers
That can chisel away at the stone
One crack in the armor
For each year completed
And each lesson learned
Piece by piece
Until
Finally
A beautiful butterfly emerges from a self-imposed suffocating cocoon.
