My Demon

As this demon bits at my feet.
I’m left in defeat.
It keeps my life rolling.
Rolling my life towards a cliff
And nothing will differ this course
Because there is no source
For this pain
That is straining me
But I can’t see any escape
So I’m scraping with my nails
At the floor looking for an open door
Cause I’m doomed
As I’m zooming to my end all I see is darkness
In this battle that as no end
All this demon does is send me towards fall
That I never saw.
