Listening to the music
Nodding my head to the tune
Drumming my fingers to the rhythm
Closing my eyes for the sound
Curling into a ball
Darkness and blankets all around
Turn it down until it’s only a soft murmur
Smile and think of him
His voice through the speakers
Guitar and banjo
Oh, if only he could see me now
Maybe then he would know
