Descending stars
For a moment
Only a moment
I Forget you
But then I remember
The Descending stars
are no longer ours
to wish upon
they belong to others
The fragments left of our love
scattered across the abyss
called
me
myself
and I
The moments I once cherished
kept close to my heart
now kept me prisoner
inside a glass case
no one can see
but me
The pointless action of hope
no longer applies to us
wishing upon a falling star
bears no magic for the once
starcrossed lovers
I no longer look at a descending star
if by accident i happened
to wish upon one
