I’m waiting for the day
When all the love songs will make sense
When I will finally get it
When I can finally relate
I’m waiting for that knight in shining armor
For the one who will climb my walls
For the one who isn’t afraid
I’m waiting for my heart to be whole again
For someone to come along and fix it
For someone who won’t break it
I’m waiting for good dreams
No more restless nights
No more imagining things that cannot be
I’m waiting for ‘out of sight, out of mind’
For the day when that will be true
For the day when I’ll stop thinking about you
