The Last Light of Summer
I'm not doing anything today
Just going to lay in bed
 And dream
 I'll eat leftovers
 And write poetry
Maybe I'll dance around my bedroom
 I'll watch my favorite movies
And watch cars pass by outside
I won't talk to anyone today
I just want to savor this moment
 This alone time
 I'll listen to music
 Think of impossible things
I won't look at the clock all day
Just let time go on by
 I'll take a nap
Or just cuddle with my pillow
I'll lock my phone in a drawer
 I'll shut down my computer
And I'll lay out on my roof
 And soak up the sun
 The last light of summer
