I threw you away today,
Maybe you think I’m feeling a little sad about it,
Maybe I thought I would be sad about it,
But I’m not.
I threw away the letters you sent me,
I’ve hid the books you gave me,
I lost the earrings,
I am sorry about that,
I liked those earrings,
This means I’m not hoping anymore,
And I know you are,
And I’m sorry because of that,
But I did it anyway,
This is goodbye.
