Her little heart
Is full of love,
Is full of joy,
Is full of hope.
Her little heart
Is full of faith,
Is full of honesty,
Is full of innocence.
I wish I had
A heart like hers -
So young and kind and sweet.
The simple faith she has
Is so perfectly complete.
Jesus loved the little kids.
He said “Let them come to me.”
I want a heart,
A heart like hers,
So Jesus will love me.
I want a heart,
A heart like hers,
The heart of a five-year-old girl.
Lord, I ask -
This is my plea -
For the heart of a little child.
