Dear John
Dear John
 My one true love
 across the world
 I've been so strong
around your finger I am twirled
 it's not like the movies
 A million miles away
and I run to your arms
and "I love you" you say
 see you've been gone
 for at least two years
 Don't know what went wrong
 I still shed tears
 They took you from me
 In the form of death
 Blindly could not see
 No emotions are left
 I miss your smile
 I miss your laugh
 without you I'm miserable
 you were my other half
 Now you're six feet under
 buried in the ground
 and I remain lonely
 with no one else around
