I love you more than
thunderstorms while I sleep.
More than iced chai tea on warm days.
And more than every Lorde
song I keep on replay.
I love you more than the autumn
wind.
More than the smell of Yankee candles.
I love you more than the first
time snow falls each winter.
More than floral dresses.
And more than each constellation
in the sky.

Because without you they
wouldn’t mean a thing.

I was inspired to write this poem when I saw a teen poet, Madisen Kuhn, writing popular poems of this type. Her work inspired me and I decided to write a poem about teen love and the things that matter to me most.

First off, LORDE HIGH FIVE!!! I love all the different similes and imagery. It's all imbued perfectly together. The emotion is there. Perfect for a love poem.

Awwwww I love this. First off,  I love how you put yourself into this, I belive that is something you should always do. Second, I like how most love poems are the same and over used whereas you put an edge that makes it a must read. Short sweet an elgant well done.
